I loved Mish’s dive into the history of work, and how change – as we all know – is nothing new. With newer forms of AI and machine learning, the hot topic has been “Will AI take our jobs”. Mish’s take – our jobs will change, AI will do AI, and humans can focus on inherent human skills. Such as creativity, collaboration, leadership, curiosity, and emotional intelligence to name a few. I liked how Mish gave us some practical examples of how we can hone these skills. Catch me outside – hiking, or playing team sports. Or indoors – playing video games, and falling down internet rabbit holes to stoke my curiosity.

Also, equally inspirational was your leadership and insights as a judge during the Hackathon Challenge “AI for a better future”. You were very warm, welcoming, and bubbling with lots of positive energy as always, it made the participants comfortable and at ease as they presented their solutions. Your questions helped the participants gain a different perspective, and insights in terms of scenarios that they can consider if they were to further build out those solutions, as well as elements around business acumen, governance, and security impacts that typically students and early career talent aren’t usually across.

Enjoyed the perspective on AI and innovation, and it was entertaining and engaging. Excellent presenter. I really like all of the reasoning she gave for why we shouldn't panic about AI taking our jobs and demonstrating through trials with professionals that AI can help us do our jobs better and faster.
